Testimonial – Inter IKEA Centre Group
We write to confirm the involvement of TBM in the management of the Inter IKEA UK Property Portfolio from the early 1990’s to 2007.
The company was responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the portfolio, the collection of rent and service charges, and the production of reports and company accounts. This included the production of tertiary and annual audited accounts for the companies in which the ownership of the various properties was vested.
The investment portfolio was made up mainly of a number of retail parks, but also contained large multi-tenanted office investments that involved substantial rental and service charge administration as well as periodic programmes of substantial repair and refurbishment.
TBM remained very involved in the day-to-day running of the portfolio until a strategic decision was made by the Inter IKEA board to exit the UK market in 2006 in favour of expansion in Central and Eastern Europe. TBM were instrumental in ensuring a quick and efficient sale of the remaining investments to various institutional investors, and dealing with the winding down of Inter IKEA’s corporate structure in the UK.
